Where do the trips take place?
Capt. Jose guides trips across some of South Florida’s best waters, including Lake Okeechobee (Belle Glade & Clewiston), Lake Ida, Everglades Holiday Park, MM35, MM41, Sawgrass, and Markham Park. Each location offers unique opportunities, from trophy largemouth bass to exotic species like peacock bass and clown knifefish.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. Florida law requires anglers ages 16 and older to have a valid freshwater fishing license. You can easily purchase one online through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
What’s included in the charter?
We provide all rods, reels, tackle, and artificial baits. Spinning gear is included, and bait casters are available upon request. Cold water is provided on the boat, and you’re welcome to bring snacks, lunch, or additional drinks for your trip.
What will we use for bait?
Charters are done with artificial lures or live bait. You do not need to choose one or the other. I am happy to split the day up with both. Or we can do one all day… it’s your choice!
